Development of website development

Year 2 (L5) website

In year 2 or level 5, we developed a website using Wix. At the time, I thought that this was a great development and showed a different level of skill; however, looking back at the site now shows the development that I have had from then to now. Year 2 website link

Year 3 (L6) website

When developing this new website on WordPress, I took inspiration from the development of my previous website. This, along with my knowledge of website development from my GCSE IT, where I developed several websites,  with all this knowledge, I looked at the development of my new site to improve the skills of different website builders. This works well for clients that could be interested in working with me in the future, as I have the skills to work on websites that use four different software’s. WordPress, Wix, Pixieset, and Adobe Muse.

 

Overall, my skills in website development have improved this year as I have been allowed to work closely with two different pieces of software and build skills in both. This has allowed me to work on different aspects of both sites, allowing for the ability to work out the best for possible clients in the future if I wish to go into a media and web development role.
