Looking back at the concerns that I have had, I feel that at this point in my life, I couldn’t continue in education straight away after the final year of the degree. However, I do feel like this is something that I can come back to in the future.
If I do look into doing an MA in the future, I will be looking for a place that would suit me. This would be down to the creative style and subject area I chose to specialise in. This makes looking at MA’s now very difficult. However, the MA that I have seen and heard about the most is Falmouth, as they have different options and many that include online options.
A PGCE, or Postgraduate Certificate in Education, is an academic qualification that opens the door to teaching. This would then lead you to become a QTS. This can be done through training, or in some cases, if you can work in education with only a PGCE, you can qualify for just a QTS assessment and get the same accreditation this way.
